Boo, like many others, is a mockingbird. Mockingbirds are best explained by Miss Maudie when she says, Mockingbirds dont do one thing except clear music for us to enjoy. [â¦], they dont do one thing but hellg their hearts out for us. Thats why its a sin to kill a mockingbird. Like mockingbirds, Boo is a innocent man who does nothing but tries to help people. He gives gifts to Jem and Scout, stitches Jems pants and he also saves the kids from Bob Ewell. But, like mockingbirds, Boo is killed (metaphorically) and turned into a pale ghost who never leaves his house.
at that place is also another way to look at Boos mockingbird representation. Boo is innocently killed by the nomenclature of the townspeople.
Even though, many of the townspeople have never genuinely seen Boo, they still make rumors about him. Like the one do by Jem, Boo was about six and a half feet tall [â¦], he dined on raw squirrels and on any cats he could catch [â¦]. There was a long skinny scar that ran along his face; what teeth he had were yellowness and rotten; his eyes popped and he drooled most of the time. (Harper (16)). Even though none of these things are true, they were still said about him. He was a innocent man that was killed by the words of the unadvised people of the town.If you want to get a full essay, effect it on our website: Orderessay
