Children in many countries and cultures are put in the situations that seem various to us. They are forced to grow up and mature much faster and dedicate life ample decisions. In most cases, males in the families are the ones who lose to deal out with such thing. In the novel B little Me Ultima, Antonio faces many uncorrectable situations that are not common for someone his age. However, his grand experience Ultima, helps him dominate each one of them.
For example, Antonio is the reason for many of his parents arguments that occur. They fight over what Antonio would be when he is older. Antonios m otherwise wanted him to be extremely intelligent, and she wanted him to be a priest when he grows up. She said An education will make him scholar, like-like the old Luna priest.(57) The reason why she wanted that is because she wasnt genuinely educated so she tried to live her life by means of Antonio. Also, she always wanted someone to bring honor to the family, and that is where the priest idea came from. Reason why Antonios mother purpose that the way to bring honor to the family would be for Antonio to become a priest is because she is very ghostlike.



Antonios father on the other hand did not agree with the idea for education, or Antonio seemly a priest. He believes education is a waste of measure and money. Antonios father grew up on the farm and less civilized and educated environment. His ambition is to own a vineyard, and have his sons work on it together. The education is not needed to juice grapes, and therefore it wasnt important to him. Also, his father is very religious so he thinks that it is pointless for Anonio to become a priest. because there was the thing about religion. My father was not a strong believer in religion.
