According to the textbook, a adorer is the lead character in a play (the hero). I believe that our protagonist is Nora Helmer. The story is about her, and about how she changes the way she feels about her aim as a woman, wife and mother. The plot of the story revolves around her and how her mystical affects those around her. I dont feel if I would use the word hero to describe her character. Should I consider her a hero because she decided it was time to grow up and realize she needed to be her own somebody? I dont think she would be my hero, but I can see how she is the hero of the story. Women, throughout ages, bring on battled a long fight for recognition of rights. It feels like we assume been fighting forever, actually. Nora is the perfect example of how life was back in those days. The story takes place sometime in the 19th century. Those were generation where women were only wives, not individuals. They were defined by their husbands existence. So it was sweet seeing that a man was able to capture the agitate that Nora was going through.
To have to break the rules and save a secret was such a burden for her. Granted, her intentions were genuine; she wanted to do something for her husband, he was irreparably ill. What is a wife to do?
