"Beach Burial" Essay.

The poem presents the poets attitudes concerning war - the insignificance and unnecessary sacrifice - through the handling of language, symbolism, imagery and rhyme.

The second line is slow and allows time to think of the gunfire and the terce line has a steadied rhythm method with alliteration from bury and burrows.
