Synopsis
Jasmine, the title character and narrator of Bharati Mukherjees novel, was born approximately 1965 in a rural Indian village called Hasnpur. She tells her story as a twenty-four-year-old pregnant widow, living in Iowa with her crippled lover, develop Ripplemeyer. It takes 2 months in Iowa to reformer(a) the most recently evolution events.
