I see dead people.
The Sixth Sense is a characterisation made in 1999 centered on a piece of music named Dr. Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis), a child psychologist, and lucre Sear (Haley Joel Osment), a trouble young boy. The story begins with Malcolm at the height of his career; he had just received an award from the mayor of Philadelphia and was returning home plate with his wife Anna. They were happily speaking of the good things that were sure to come. However, when they reached their bedroom, they discover that the window had been broken. Suspicious and frightened, they discover a former patient of of Malcolms who is deeply upset, screaming at Malcolm because he hadnt been satisfactory to service of process him. Though Malcolm does his best to calm the distraught hu homo being down, the man ends up shooting Malcolm in the abdomen, then himself in the head. A stratum later, Malcolm seeks to redeem himself with the case of nine-year-old Cole Sears, who exhibits the same symptoms of the man he had misdiagnosed. Working hard to get Cole to lax up, Malcolm tries to deal with his wifes cold behavior toward him, and her ostensible affair.
Once Cole finally does open up to him with the iconic line I see dead people, Malcolm feels a crushing sense of defeat and a fear that Cole needs to be institutionalized. This would mean that he wasnt able to serve him, like he hadnt been able to wait on the patient who had met a tragic end. However, through further examination of old interviews with the patient, Dr. Crowe realizes that the spirits the man claimed to be around were in truth speaking to him. With this newfound belief, Malcolm and Cole set come to the fore to help Cole face his fears, and help the lost spirits as well. In the end, Cole ends up helping Malcolm just as much as Malcolm had helped Cole, if not more. As it turned out; Malcolm himself had lose itd in the terrible shooting that night a year before.
