They did not like this policy so they went on a violent disorder and attacked the Indians for their land. Berkeleys people wanted him to join them, when Berkeley refused they chased him out of Jamestown and put a torch to the capital. Nathaniel Bacon then suddenly died of a unknown disease, when Governor Berkeley heard that he had died he returned and hung to a greater extent than twenty rebels (Frustrated Men).
