Drug Issues in Wishram
One of the major problems in Wishram, Washington, is the prolific use of drugs. Because of the lack of law enforcement, people crapper openly use drugs with little or no consequences. This affects the timbre of life for everyone in the town. The amount of drugs being circulated throughout Wishram immediately correlates to the number of crimes that be committed. Many kids grow up with warmness abusing parents, which is often coincidental with them being abused. Playgrounds are unsafe at night due to drug dealings, which is troublesome for any line workers who often pass through there after their suspension is over (Klickitat). Homeless people will often omit any money they have on drugs. It is a public sight to see people with nothing but a tarp to live under who smoke pot on the roadways. Without any police force officers to take control over the situation, these problems are very difficult to manage and are often destabilizing to the wide-cut community.



This paper will show both arguments and will stick out the view that drugs are a serious issue which necessarily to be hold backed, and the importance of having a police station to help terminate any illegal drug activity.
With the spread of drugs throughout Wishram some people are afraid to even go out at night, parents fear for their childrens safety, and it becomes an increasingly heavy place to live. However, certain actions have been taken to try to prevent this rampant ill-use of substances in the town. The Klickitat County Meth Action squad and several other anti-drug organizations all donated to provide Wishram with more street lamps around the town so that drug dealers could be spotted. The police force from Goldendale displayed drug paraphernalia to the towns citizens so that they could more tardily spot drug dealers and users, then report them.
