Although many legitimate reasons to continue slavery exists, as the only voice these victims of slavery have, we, the people of our country must quell true to our moral beliefs and affirm that our cause of ending slavery is morally justified due to the dehumanizing effects slavery has on its victims by discouraging demolishing their psychehood and self-definition, its stroke to promote the humor of equal social status and equal opportunity for all, and its failure to establish hope and freedom. Slavery causes its victims to lose sight of the person they know, what they believe in and destroys their lifes purpose.
