Do you ever imagine what it would take for a citizen to be heard by its government? On December 17, 2010, it took Mohamed Bouazizi, a vendor in Tunisia, to set himself on fire and gave his behavior away to overthrow individual dictators and have the citizens hear his sufferings. On August 24, 2011, Rami G. Khaouri wrote an article on, The Arab awaken, in which sets the platform for what will be coming towards the Arab world because of these consequences. The author, Khaouri, made three important points to split chthonicstand this awakening that is happening in the Arab world. First, he says, ii words capture every important dimension of the Arab Awakening: humiliation and legitimacy. These words give us a disposition of what the citizens are feeling and experiencing. For years, the citizens under these circumstances have been experiencing inequality, stolen rights, escape of freedom of expression…etc. Whats important approximately these words are that it is the main reasons why the Arab world is erupting. being humiliated by your own government gives strong feelings towards the attracter of that government. The citizens ask trust and legitimacy, they need a leader who can keep its promises and understand the call for and losss of its citizens. Then, the author makes another point that captures what is inevitable for these citizens who have been under this unfair government. He says, The citizen with rightsâ€"the most basic element of veritable statehoodâ€"is the first building block of the Arab Awakening. The author states that what is most needed for these citizens to heal are their basic human rights. They have been pretermit by their government for so long and have been case-hardened so harsh that all they ask for is their citizenship rights. They want to be able to have political rights and have opportunities that other citizens in the world have, such as; a good education...
